Where is Raquette Lake?
Raquette Lake is in the town of Long Lake in the Adirondack Park of New York State. The hamlet of Raquette Lake is on the southwest shore of the lake.
The Adirondack Park covers more than 6 million acres: a mix of public forest and private lands. The park encompasses vast forests, towns and villages, mountains, lakes, ponds and rivers. Raquette Lake is the largest natural lake within the park. Only six miles long, Raquette Lake has 99 miles of shoreline, 80% of which is owned by New York State and designated “Forever Wild”.
